» » Hon. Aboh Receives an award - James Mohammed

The youthful, student friendly and agile Administrator of Omala LG, HON. IBRAHIM YAKUBU ABOH has again received a prestigious recognition award from Omala Students Association, (O.S.A.) Kogi State Polytechnic Chapter, Lokoja.

Presenting the award on behalf of the students body, the President, Comrade Mohammed Halidu A. (Jogba) stressed that "so far, the Administrator has been outstanding and transparent in his dealings, especially his immense contribution towards the welfare of students, and we felt this should not go unnoticed, the reason for the prestigious recognition award".

The PRO of the Association, who also doubled as the National President of Ife Students Association, Comrade Jonathan Yahaya congratulated and extolled the council boss and urged him not to relent in his due diligence as they form part of what earned him the prestigious award.

Responding, the Chief Administrator, HON. IBRAHIM YAKUBU ABOH appreciated the student union for their foresight in identifying with hard work.their
Hon. Aboh said, "I was a student like you and I feel your pulse always. The best you can do for yourself while a student is to remain resolute, focused and committed to your studies. Shun all social vices that are inimical to your academic pursuit. Do not allow anybody to use you as a tool for actualising their selfish interest".

"What the award will do for me is to spur me into doing better. Together we can build a better Omala. Contribute your quota in whatever capacity and God will reward you", Hon. Aboh concluded.

The student body through their women leader, Habibat Suleiman (Magajiya) passed a vote of confidence on the Aboh's administration and promised  unalloyed support.
